Located between 4 000 and 7 500 feet above sea level, Little Africa is the natural home to a number of plains game species such as Klipspringer, Grey Rhebuck and Mountain Reedbuck.
In the valleys and plains of our hunting area we have 29 different free range species to hunt. In the dangerous game category we offer Cape Buffalo hunting.

Location
Little Africa Safaris are based high up in the Sneeuberge (Snow Mountains), in the Graaff Reinet district of the malaria free Eastern Cape region of South Africa and it is well suited to plains game hunting.

Best Times of the Year to Visit
Between March and September are the best times to plan your hunting safari in South Africa. March & April can still be quite hot but by May the temperatures cool down.
Mornings are often frosty and cold, warm and sunny during the day, but the temperature drops quickly at sun down.
From mid- June until the end of August temps regularly drop down below zero (celcius) during the night.
Due to our high altitude at Little Africa we often receive light snowfalls during these winter months.
